Tuesday 7th March at 10:00am – 12:30pm
This course will have four weekly classes ending on 28th March 2023.
This course of four weekly classes can either be a follow-on from the initial six-week Dynamic Drawing in Graphite, and Charcoal or a standalone course. Hayley Mills the tutor, is an established professional Scottish wildlife and landscape artist who lives and has her studio in rural Fife, Scotland. Working with a range of artistic media, she creates a mixture of drawings, mixed media and textile pieces. Taking inspiration from the wildlife and landscape that surrounds her and the creative process itself, this combination leads to an intuitive, expressive and thoughtful creative process resulting in individual, temporal, dynamic pieces of work. You can see many examples of her beautiful work here.
Hayley is also a very well-regarded and experienced teacher. Strong drawing is the foundation of her work and this is what she will focus on in this initial set of six weekly classes in January and February. Whether you want to get back to drawing, improve your current level or keep your drawing hand in, this dynamic drawing class will help you. This set of classes will allow you to explore soft pastel and oil crayon. Hayley’s person-centred tuition will support you throughout the course. The class is mixed level, with some basic drawing experience required.
