Woven willow platters and cones

Cheer up gloomy February with a one-day introduction to the art of willow weaving. Our friend Jane Wilkinson, nationally known designer in willow, makes a welcome return to the Arthouse. You can see her own wonderful work at Special Branch Baskets.
In this workshop, Jane will help you to make an attractive willow platter or cone. You will learn to use the tools of the basket maker and the art of soaking and preparing willow. The workshop will be fast-paced but fun and you will be amazed at what you can produce in a day.
