Artist Nichola Martin graduated in Fine Art from Duncan of Jordanstone winning many prestigiousawards. Working from her studio in Fife, she exhibits widely, with work in private international collections. A skilled draughtsman she prefers to work in charcoal and oils and is highly sought after for paintings requiring a high level of technical detail.
Workshops will consist of working from still life using charcoal and also beginners oil painting class. All abilities welcome with no experience necessary. In these fun classes students will be taught the fundamental techniques of drawing and painting, such as mixing colour, composition, material choice and much more. First learning to draw before proceeding to painting, students will be taught about colour mixing techniques, colour values and how brush strokes can be applied in various ways.
